As of Pro Tools 2026.4.1, Apple M5-series computers are qualified and Avid addressed the known issues that could result in the application hanging or crashing on launch, or when changing Playback Engine settings. While Pro Tools is now performing well with M5 chips and benchmark tests are returning excellent results overall, Avid is continuing to tune M5 Pro/Max performance to fully realize their maximum potential.
