Avid has been listening to customers who needed MADI connectivity and released a complete new MADI interface today with exactly the features people were asking for: Both coaxial *and* optical connections, 64 channels of audio, real-time sample rate conversion and guaranteed Pro Tools HD compatibility, all in a tiny one height unit. To use all 64 channels you need at least HD2 as each HD card supports up to 32 audio channels.
