Avid released the new Pro Tools HD 8.1 adding support to the new I/Os and significantly enhancing the I/O setup. Now you can abstract the Pro Tools mixer from the physical inputs and outputs which makes moving sessions between studios much easier. Pro Tools HD 8.1 runs on Snow Leopard and Windows XP and it is a free update to Pro Tools HD 8 owners.
