Digital Audio Denmark offers expansion cards across Analog In, Analog Out, Dante, MADI, AES and 3G SDI for its Thunder | Core and Penta product ranges.

With a strong focus on Live Sound Production, DAD will add AVB Milan expansion card to the roster. And to broadcasters, an upcoming ST 2110 expansion card will also be a crucial addition that will ensure integration of network-driven audio routing at broadcast facilities and in OB trucks, bridging the gaps across a wealth of different digital audio formats.

DAD’s AX64, AX32 and Penta 720 units are capable of holding up to eight expansion cards, while it’s AX Center holds up to two and Penta 721s has room for one. Core 256 can be expanded with SFP modules, but given its compact footprint, it does not take expansion cards. However, given that all DAD units are controlled form the same DADman software, Core 256 can easily be a part of a larger setup, spanning multiple DAD units with a variety of installed expansion cards.
