We received our first Mac Pro last week so we can confirm that they are definitely shipping. Today we even found time to unpack it and take it for a short spin. We will use the new Quad Core Xeon screamer for internal testing with our ICONs, HD|3 and LE systems.
The Mac Pro’s extremely expandable innards are even more impressive live than in pictures and it’s running very cool and quiet. We’re just waiting to stuff it with four SATA disks and see how many tracks we get going inside the box when Intel compatible Pro Tools HD arrives. More about Mac Pro compatibility soon.
