Another year of crazy expensive hotel prices, suits window shopping at Red Light, dodging omnipresent cycles and some broadcasting technology. IBC ’07 was a quite interesting gathering with silly busy Digidesign booth showing Pro Tools HD 7.4 on ICON, Video Satellite and other hot new stuff hitting our stock soon. Beyond Digidesign, the coolest news for us were Virtual Katy’s upcoming VK Connect project management software and Creative Network Design’s new NetMix Pro 4. Aspera’s acquisition of DigiDelivery development also looked really promising considering Aspera’s clever high-speed file transfer technology.
