Stylus RMX
Groove Virtual Instrument
Stylus RMX is a groove-based virtual instrument plug-in for Macintosh and Windows. It is the first product to offer the combined power of Groove Control with Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine (S.A.G.E.) technology giving users new control over groove production and performance.
Core library with 7.4GB of samples
The massive new 7.4 gigabyte core library in Stylus RMX has thousands of cutting-edge grooves and sounds that were created by Spectrasonics' international sound design team, and produced by Eric Persing. It contains nearly triple the amount of sounds originally offered in the original Stylus, and contains all the original material as well. Mixes of grooves are broken down into individual tracks called Elements for flexibility and infinite combinations.
Thousands of new kit modules and user drum kit construction
Stylus RMX has thousands of Kit modules, as well as user Kit construction. The sound menus have over 10,000 single hits, all arranged in organized categories. Users can create their own customized multitrack remix grooves and kits, save them into the plug-in, and even share them with other Stylus RMX users on different platforms and hosts. It's the ultimate Remix-oriented sound module for building grooves.
"Xpandable" with five new S.A.G.E. Xpanders
Stylus RMX marks Spectrasonics' first expandable virtual instrument, with a series of five new "S.A.G.E. Xpanders" for Stylus RMX. Stylus RMX also can be expanded with existing Groove Control CD-ROM libraries and even REX files - which opens the door for musicians to utilize their own audio loops within the powerful S.A.G.E. Environment.
Chaos Designer introduces musical chaos into a groove
With simple controls, the user can introduce musical Chaos into the groove, which allows it to have constantly evolving variations- giving the impression that the audio grooves are improvising. The results can be subtle or extreme by setting the simple to use controls. A Capture feature allows the spontaneous audio chaos patterns to be made into a MIDI file, dragged and dropped into the host sequencer, and played back again for further editing by the user.

Atmosphere
Layers and Textures Virtual Instrument
The Atmosphere Dream Synth Module, is a new type of software plug-in instrument that integrates a massive, three gigabyte core library of more than one thousand unique sounds and layer elements, with a powerful and intuitive interface for shaping new textures. Atmosphere was designed from the ground up by acclaimed synthesist Eric Persing, well known for his sound design of classic Roland synthesizers and award-winning sample libraries.
Persing and his International team of sound designers developed the Atmosphere core library using over a hundred sound design devices and nearly every conceivable synthesis method including Granular, Additive, Wavetable, Wavescanning, Graintable, Neural Processing, Vintage Analog, Vector, Virtual Analog, FM, Plug-In manipulations, and unusual Acoustic sources as well. This custom core library gives Atmosphere its variety of tonal textures, especially when compared to standard soft-synths.
The range of sounds goes from lush ethereal pads, to powerful leads, crystalline glass swells to dark brooding atonal clouds, unusual synth basses, evocative ambiences, deep drones, complex textures, vintage analog sounds, disturbing noise FX, europhasers, gorgeous ambient string ensembles, thick trance/techno sounds, wavetable sweeps, vocoded choirs, dense vocal washes, transparent evolutions, and shimmering prisms of harmonic convergence.
The core library of a thousand powerful sounds is just the starting point, you can immediately mix and match the layers of any of the 1,000 patches, and tweak each layer fully independently. Each layer has its own multimode resonant filters, four LFOs, three envelopes and matrix modulation. There is also an additional master filter for quick tone shaping.

Trilogy
Bass Virtual Instrument
Trilogy is a programmable, sample-based sound module plug-in, that integrates a massive 3 Gigabyte core library of hundreds of brand new, remarkable Bass sounds, with a powerful user interface for creating your own unique patches. Trilogy works with two layers that you can tweak individually. You can also immediately mix and match any of the layers in the core library together, and edit each one independently.
Acoustic Bass
The highly detailed Acoustic Upright Bass is one of the highlights of this instrument. The interface has separate control of the Neumann™ U-47 Tube Microphone signal and the Direct Pickup signal, which was sampled through a vintage Neve 1083 Console. The sound is chromatically sampled, with multi-dynamic velocity switching. The hardest velocity in every Bass patch in Trilogy brings in real bass glisses. An acoustic Martin Dreadnought Bass Guitar is also available in the Acoustic section.
Trilogy's innovative True Staccato technique lets you play repeated notes on the Acoustic and Electric basses in real-time with a whole new level of realistic phrasing, and finally allows for repeated notes that sound completely natural like a bass player.
Electric Bass
The huge selection of Electric Basses features classic 4, 5 and 6 string models, performed in Fingered, Picked, Muted, Rock & Roll, Slapping, Ballad, Fretless and R&B techniques through rare, custom-made tube preamps. Special variations are presented including Harmonics, Glisses, Fuzz, Trills, FX and thousands of Slides. Both Modern and Vintage "Old School" Electrics are available, providing a wide array of tones for different musical settings. All the patches are mapped the same way, so that one sequence will work with any bass you select.
Every Acoustic and Electric Bass in Trilogy has a special "Finger Noise" release layer with release triggering, that gives these basses amazing realism -perfectly simulating the fretboard response of the real bass. When a note is released, the Finger Noise layer triggers an appropriate noise sample from among hundreds of tiny fret noises, subtle string scrapes, squeeks, x-notes, taps and mutes, which add a user controllable "human" imperfection element to your performance. You can also easily control how much of this effect you want, since the noise effect is on its own layer that can be controlled from the Trilogy Mixer.
Synth Bass
The sound of Trilogy is not only ultra-fat, but it sits great in a mix. The core samples come from legendary Analog Bass Synths like the Minimoog, Roland Juno 60, Roland TB-303, Roland SH-101, Oberheim SEM, Moog Taurus, OSCar, Access Virus, Yamaha CS-80, Arp Odyssey and 2600, Studio Electronics SE-1, Omega and ATC Tone Chameleon, Sequential Circuits Pro One, Moog Voyager and many others. Trilogy's multimode resonant filters allow you total control over the sound, while still retaining the original character and power of the classic analog instruments.
Trilogy has an analog synth-style Legato triggering and Glide feature as well. This capability allows for Synth Bass sounds that truely play like a vintage analog synth. This feature can also be used with any of the Electric or Acoustic Basses.
